Miranda(7th grader) came home to tell me all about how "the cute 9th grader boy"
(named Matt) gave her a hug as he went off to class after they were hanging out and talking before her social studies class.
I think its so cute! Mike thinks it time to go hunt down all 9th grade boys named Matt. LOL!!!
I am glad she is willing to share with me her stories and her life. I think its great that she is finding out that the dorky boys she went to elementary school with are just that.
I am kinda sad my only little girl isn't so little anymore. I guess it just makes me feel old.
Of course I will be 29 forever so I can get over that :O)

Ahhh to be 29. (I just learned from the OB doctor that I am AMA - advanced maternal age - that is code for OLD!)
ROFL at Calico Cat's comment...:) I do so admire those of you with teenagers...God knew I wouldn't be able to handle aging dogs....let alone teenagers!!! ROFL Thanks for visiting my neglected blog, and yes, those ARE wild turkeys behind my house. This is the first Spring in the 5 years that we've lived here that I've seen them fan their tails. Just couldn't resist sharing that picture with all of you. :)
