I have been working on this quilt, its sorta an figure it out as you go sorta thing. I took the "French Roses" idea and the "Fun and Done"(quilt as you go) idea and combined them. I am not sure if I love it. The idea is I need this quilt by April 11th finished! The wedding is that day. SIGH! What do you all think am I just to close to it?

Thanks for visiting me, Carin! It's fun to "hear" from you. Looks like you are busy & happy. :) Your quilts are amazing. I really like this one, and don't think you need to change a thing. Lunch would be fun. I've added your blog to my favorites, so I'll see you soon!

Oh, I like it! I always go through phases with my quilts where I love them and hate them. It can be hard when your in the midst of it. But I think it's lovely!

Hi Carin,
What kind of sewing machine did your grandmother have? I have an old Franklin treadle machine that I would love to get the turn belt fixed and give it a try. I love the colors in your quilt. There might be just a touch too much green for my tastes, but it is a pretty quilt and I am sure the bride will love it.

Looks good to me! Keep it going and it will be great when it is finished and washed. :)

Just remember that finished is better than perfect. I like the green/red/pink combo.
