What I've been working on all day

I made this table runner for a friend of mine, an old boy friend to be more precise. He asked me to make him a quilt for his King size bed, now given that

1) I don't make king size quilts (they are freaking enormous)

2) I don't top the list of his wives favorite people, I think she is a little bugged we are still friends, I don't think she wants to sleep under a quilt I made, or make her bed with it everyday. I have a feeling that if I did somehow a bottle of iodine or something would end up in the middle of it.

So my thinking is this, if I make him a birthday table runner that his whole family can use (he has 5 kids so I made it bright and fun so they could use it) that it stands less of a chance of finding its way to the thrift shop or dog bed.

HUGS,

Gotta admit, it must be weird for the wife that you are still friends.

What a great runner, certainly makes me drool! Can understand your reluctance to make a king bed quilt. Me too! And understand the weirdness for some wives .... most of my best friends are men too, and things were strange with some of them before they became widowed or divorced! Now it is much easier to be friends without their partners thinking the worst!

It looks great and I'm sure the children will love it. I would go over regularly and make she's using
it.... he he he.
