Isn't this the most beautiful design! I just love Lynette's designs you can check out her blog
HERE
Also I have a link to her free block of the month from last year on my sidebar.
I have been working on a stitchery pattern of hers and I will post it when I am done. I just had to share Lynette with any of you who don't know her because she is just amazing!

I agree! I am a fan of Lynette's too. I just assembled my Noah's Ark BOM and now just need to quilt it.
Beautiful! Every once in awhile I think about getting into quilting but I have enough expensive hobbies already lol.
I Love Lynette Andersons work too, I can only ever dream of being that good.

That is a beautiful quilt!
Do you have any recommendations for a pattern for a complete novice? One that you can actually use scraps to make?
Wendy I would suggest a rail fence http://www.straw.com/equilters/library/quickquilts/railfence/railfence-links.html this has some great images of what people have done with this super simple block. I warn you its addictive ;O) Another great sight for scrap quilts is http://quiltville.com/ she has probably 100 quilt designs all made with scraps and step by step instructions. Call me if you need help HUGS Carin
Thanks Carin! I'm gonna book mark them so I can find them again "some day". :)
Hey Carin! We have such talented designers here in Australia! Tee! Hee! Hee! My Noah's Ark blocks are all done, but don't match up, so one day I have to sit down and nut out how to put them all together. I feel some filler blocks will be needed ... hence the project being pushed to the back of the cupboard so far!!! Oh - love your birthday table runner, too. Lucky ex-boyfriend! Nice that you're all still friends too! Bear Hugs! KRIS
