Parent teacher conferances

I think that they plan these just to make my life a pain in the bum!
It means that for the next two days I have to remember to go get the kids at 11:15 not 11:00 not 11:30 no that would have made sense, 11:15!
Not only that but it also means the kids will be home and in my space and invading my me time. LOL!
I sound like the worst parent in the world, I have to remember my kids and have them around. Boy its no wonder I never get to ride in the parade on the fourth of July as Mother of the Year!
The kids have been doing well at the new school and they really like it so PTC shouldn't be to bad, I don't expect them to tell me my children have a great future in the fast food industry or that they are future serial killers. That's always a bonus.
I guess I better get my tooshie in gear if I don't want to be the only mom picking up her kids still in her PJ's ;O)

Well I'm still in my jammies, but I AM sick lol. Keep debating on if I should take a shower or not lol.

I'm glad our school only does the PTC once during the year! Throws off the whole schedule.

Hey Carin! We stuck with bears instead of kids - no parent teacher interviews, no school fees, no college applications - very low stress and maintenance! Tee! Hee! Hee! Your Christmas counter is wrong, by the way, I'm sure there should be at least 70 or 80 days left til Christmas! :0) Bear Hugs! KRIS

Ours has been and gone thankfully. It's not compulsory so I only go if I think I need to see a teacher

Love and hugs Gina xxx

I like parent/teacher conferences. Nice to get to know the teacher and talk about how my child is doing. As I am not helping out in the classroom this year as much as I have in the past, p/t conferences are a good thing for me.
I know what you mean about your alone time though. Moms need that to recharge! :~)
