This is my first attempt at a quilt using my scraps from other quilts to make a "scrappy" quilt. I am a little OCD so I had to manipulate the scraps so the black and white and the brights where on the same sides. :O) I will be putting yellow sashing with black cornerstones between each block. The hardest thing I have ever done is to put the scraps in a bag and make myself put what ever came out together. It totally freaks me out to put patterns together that don't "match" or colors I would NEVER put together. Its a growth experience. :O)

scrappy quilts would be hard for me, too. Growing up all my moms quilts were pretty much scrappy quilts.
but, I do think you balanced everything very well!
