I have been so lazy the last couple of days! I keep trying to get my butt in gear but just can't seem to find the energy to do it.
I am hopeful that after my tonsil surgery that I will have more energy. I keep hoping that something will do the trick, that the Dr will finally figure out what has sapped my energy and made me a giant slug. I am trying to get some quilt stuff that was due to a friend in DC last week done. I bought some pretty cottons to put together an Amish square in a square quilt to practice my hand quilting. I want to get that together before my surgery so I have something to do while I can't yell at the kids.
My 87 year old grandma keeps telling me she is coming up here for that week. I love this woman with all my heart but she makes me crazy and worse she makes DH crazy. If she comes and stays we will all be nuts. (the woman vacuums the front porch) Last time she was here just for a couple hours visit she used a whole bottle of bleach to clean my toilets cause she felt the toilet bowl cleaner I used wasn't good enough. SIGH!!
Well I am going to try to work on those blocks again, wish me luck.

Hey, send her to my house. I could keep her busy until you are fully recovered...and then some.

lol! I think I love your grandma. I'm all about vaccuming my front porch!!

Sorry you are feeling sluggish. The heat probably doesn't help either.

I would love to see your Amish quilt--show a picture when you can. I wish I still had a grandmother who was alive. I would love to have her show me her pie crust--it was the BEST!! Have a great day. Julie

Hey Carin! I loooooove your pic of the bear in his hammock!! See, that's your problem - you're not a slug, you're a southern hemisphere bear who thinks she should be hibernating instead of being in northern hemisphere summer!! I know the feeling about that "To Do" list not changing! Perhaps my problem is I keep adding things to the bottom of it, like joining Linda's bag/bucket swap!! I must be crazy - but at least I'll get fun mail! Tee! Hee! Hee! Get stuck into the Olive Leaf extract and feel better soon! Bear Hugs! KRIS (Tag Along Teddies)

funny grandma....a whole bottle of bleach, maybe that is what is wrong with her--too much inhaling! :)

We've all got relatives like that. Let her come over and papmper you. Just think of all the cleaning you won't have to do.
I'm sure you'll feel better after the op.
Love and hugs Gina xx
